Our Description: These are versatile, slim nappies (particularly the bamboo) that are high in the rise (so very good for boys) but can also be folded down at the front to fit a smaller baby if needs be, even with the aplix fastening. The tabs fold over each other quite far so the nappy fits well on a slim baby as well and a chunky one. The leg holes also tend to come up fairly high, which fits very well on some babies and not so well on others. The containment is very good, but we feel it would be slightly better if the leg holes were a tighter fit. The nappies do have good elastication, but because the elastic around the leg holes do not appear to be as curved as some other makes, we have found that if you boost the nappy up with too many layers, the leg holes do not sit flush to the skin. The advantage of this is that it leaves no markings around the legs for being too tight, the disadvantage is that poo has leaked out the sides a couple of times when we have used it and failed to get the boosting right. The old style gusseted wrap will go a long way to containing any poo explosions and is a nice fitting wrap (we love the gussets), although again, we think the leg holes are a little wide. We have not yet tried the new wrap without the gussets. The Bamboo nappies are slim-lined, come with their own 3-layered booster, but may need further boosting for a heavy wetter. The Microfibre Teddy nappies are SO SOFT (lovely to touch). Again the booster it comes with will not be enough to last a heavy wetter 3 hours, so extra boosting will be needed.

Our Opinion: An award winning, great make of nappy, particularly good if your baby has slightly chunky hips / thighs. It’s definitely one worth trying because if the fit is right, you’ve got a great nappy on your hands and if not, the re-sale value usually remains high for a well looked after set of nappies.
